Australian Delegation Heads To Lianyungang



A Geelong delegation is headed to China to examine possible new opportunities between the two regions.

Labor Geelong MP Christine Couzens is leading the delegation to Geelong’s sister city, Lianyungang, in the Jiangsu province.

Other members of the group include Brett Luxford from the City of Greater Geelong, Committee for Geelong CEO Rebecca Casson, Jackie Taylor from the Gordon TAFE, as well as state government and business representatives.

The delegation will hold four days of meetings between today and Thursday, looking at issues including international education, agribusiness, technology, airports and ports infrastructure as well as the visitor economy.
